Description
This is usually a solitary coral, but sometimes found in small clusters. The corallum is tapered and the top oval to almost round. The tentacles are arranged around a small long narrow mouth. Striking are the round white lumps on the ends of the about 80 tentacles.

Size
The corallum can reach a height of 30 mm with a diameter of 25 mm at the top.

Colour
The column is beige to light brown, the color of the tentacles can vary from almost white, brownish, reddish to greenish with light-colored buttons on the ends. Around light, mouth a brownish zigzag line can be seen.

Habitat
On hard surfaces, which may be a little piece of shell in the sand, due to the narrow foot is. From the shallows to a depth of more than 100 meters.
