Description
This colony consist of cup-shaped zooids placed in alternating rows of two
individuals. The opening of the zooids point upwards, in a slight angle outwards
and are stuck with thorns and long tentacles.
Size
The colony can grow to a size of a few centimetres and usually are
sphere-shaped.
Colour
The colour is light beige, and the zooids can be distinguished because they are
darker.
Habitat
Can be found in shallow coastal waters, up to 20 or 30 meters.
Distribution
North eastern Atlantic.
